For over 20 years, across 10 programs and serving over 1000 community members HCDC has worked to create opportunities that support diverse communities on the Southwest side of Chicago and beyond.  Explore our work to see the programs we have created.

Destination Safe Haven

Destination Safe Haven is a comprehensive summer enrichment program for youth. The program is geared at raising up a new generation of young heroes, by creating a safe and nurturing environment that encourages individual learning, collective team growth and community support and development.
